Many schools are utilising the Youth and Elderly Society’s creativity in `bridging the age gap`.

YES promote family generations to have fun by sharing childhood memories and important topics between schools, children, parents/guardians and grandparents.

It may be an extended school workshop, a school project or even part of the curriculum.

  • School meals. How they have changed. Compare the quality. 
  • Food. Likes and dislikes. Understand the nutritional value of meat, vegetables, fruit and puddings.
  • Interests. Hobbies, collections and leisure time.
  • Involvement. Ideas on how schools can utilise the knowledge of elder people for the benefit of ALL children.
