YES appeal to all youth organisations to direct a little of their precious time and effort in putting excitement and a bit of sparkle back into the lives of an elder person.Scouts, guides, youth clubs, after school clubs, cadets and other youth organisations are turning their attention towards YES for fresh exciting projects for young people to be involved in. Each group is at the forefront to promote meetings/trips and various interesting and exciting events not only for the elder person you have chosen, but for everyone involved.

Start you own YES group.
Before you set up your YES group you must get the approval and support of the person in charge of your organisation.
- Get together with other interested people and have a meeting.
- The person chosen must fully understand and agree of what is being asked of them. (have them look at the YES web site)
- Create a YES email address for your group that includes a post code i.e. yesgcac_ch422df@yahoo.com or your organisation may be able to help!
Of course you don`t have to start a group this way - you might want to get one or two friends together and meet once a month to talk about YES issues - or you may want to keep it between just the two of you - whatever you choose is fine.
